Soil Remediation Project Tomorrow on Route 654 in Limestone Township, Lycoming County

Montoursville, PA – Motorists are advised of a lane restriction this week on the bridge that carries Route 54 over the West Branch Susquehanna River (Montgomery River Bridge) in Montgomery Borough and Muncy Creek Township, Lycoming County, for a gas line inspection.

On Friday, September 19, 2025, Surview Field Services, a contractor for UGI, will be inspecting a gas line along the Montgomery River Bridge. Motorists can expect a single lane with flagging between the hours of 9:a00 AM and 3:00 PM where work is being performed. This project is anticipated to be completed in one day.

Motorists should be alert, slow down, watch for slow moving traffic, and drive with caution through the work zone.
