Route 225 Closed in Jackson Township, Northumberland County

Montoursville, PA – Motorists are advised that Route 225 is closed in both directions between Hooflander Road (Route 3003) and Schwaben Creek Road (Route 3010) in Jackson Township, Northumberland County, due to a downed tree and utilities.

Traffic Impacts

  • Northbound traffic is being detoured using Hooflander Road, Slutter Valley Road (Route 3005), and Schwaben Creek Road.
  • Southbound traffic is being detoured using Herndon Bypass Road (Route 3006) and Route 147.

The roadway is expected to be closed for several hours. Motorists should drive with caution in the area and expect minor delays.
