Montoursville, PA – Motorists are advised that a crack sealing project continues next week on several routes in Columbia, Montour, Northumberland, and Snyder Counties.
The week of Sunday, October 5, 2025, the contractor, Russell Standard Corporation, will be working in the following locations.
Montour County
- Route 642 in Valley, Liberty, and West Hemlock Townships.
Northumberland County
- Route 125 in the City of Shamokin, Coal and East Cameron Townships.
- I-180 between the Lycoming County line and Interstate 80 interchange.
Motorists can anticipate lane restrictions on four lane roads or single lane conditions with flagging on two lane roads, where work is being performed. Work will be performed between the hours of 7:00 Am and 6:00 PM.
Motorists should be alert, slow down, expect delays, watch for changing traffic patterns, and drive with caution through the work zone.
Russell Standard Corporation is the prime contractor for this $438,000 contract which includes routes in Columbia, Montour, Northumberland and Snyder Counties. Work on this project is anticipated to be completed in December 2025.
