Montoursville, PA – Motorists are advised a contractor working for North Shore Railroad Company and Affiliates will be performing a railroad crossing project next week on Route 15 southbound in Winfield, Union County.
On Wednesday, August 27, 2025, beginning at 6:00 AM, the southbound right (driving) lane will be closed at the Winfield crossing for a railroad crossing maintenance project. The project will require 24 hours to cure, and the lane restriction is expected to be lifted during the morning of Thursday, August 28, 2025, weather pending.
The southbound left (passing) lane will remain open. Motorists should be alert for workers and equipment and should drive with caution in the area.
