Montoursville, PA – Motorists are advised that a pipe replacement will take place next week on Rushtown Road (Route 2006) in Rush Township, Northumberland County.
On Thursday, November 13, 2025, a Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) maintenance crew will replace the cross pipe on Rushtown Road at Bellas Hollow Road between the hours of 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM, weather permitting.
During work, Rushtown Road will be closed to traffic. A detour will be in place using Logan Run Road/Hill Road (Route 2005) and Center Road (Route 4004).
Motorists should be alert and drive with caution in the area.
