Pipe Replacement Project Begins Next Week on Pleasant Valley Road in Hepburn and Eldred Townships, Lycoming County

Montoursville, PA – Motorists are advised that a pipe replacement project will close a portion of Pleasant Valley Road (Route 2022) next week in Hepburn and Eldred townships, Lycoming County.

Between Monday, October 6, 2025 and Friday, October 10, 2025, Pleasant Valley Road will be closed to through traffic between Lycoming Creek Road (Route 1017) Hepburn Township and Northway Road (Route 2029) in Eldred Township, while the contractor HRI, Inc., completes the pipe replacement project. Work includes excavation, pipe replacement, construction of a new 72-inch headwall, paving, and line painting.

A detour using Lycoming Creek Road, Route 973, and Northway Road will be in place for the duration of the project. Property owners will have access to their property on either side of the pipe replacement, which is located between Crescent Hill Road and Beach Road.

Motorists should be alert, slow down, expect delays in travel, and drive with caution.
