Lewisburg River Bridge Lighting Project Scheduled for Monday

Montoursville, PA – Motorists are advised a bridge lighting project will take place Monday on the Lewisburg River Bridge (Route 45) in Lewisburg Borough, Union County and West Chillisquaque Township, Northumberland County.

On Monday, November 24, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, a Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) maintenance crew and district electricians will be replacing bridge lights and globes on the Lewisburg River Bridge. Motorists can expect single lane conditions with flaggers controlling traffic.

Motorists should be alert, slow down, and expect delays in travel. This project is expected to be completed in one day, weather permitting.
