I-180 Reopened in Both Directions in Northumberland County

Montoursville, PA – Motorists are advised that Interstate 180 is now open in both directions between McEwensville/Watsontown (Exit # 1) and Turbotville (Exit # 5) in Northumberland County. The interstate was closed this morning following a truck striking the bridge that carries Eighth Street (Route 1006) over the interstate, with downed utility.

Utility companies repaired or replaced utility lines and bridge inspection crews inspected the bridge and deemed it safe to reopen with the temporary traffic control on Eighth Street. Eighth Street is expected to reopen soon.
