Montoursville, PA – Motorists are advised that a drainage improvement project will begin next week on Route 15 northbound in Cogan House Township and Route 15 southbound in Jackson Township, Lycoming County.
The week of Monday, October 6, 2025, the contractor, Mitchell Knorr Contracting, will begin drainage work along the northbound shoulder approximately 1 mile south of the Cogan House interchange (Exit 152). Work on this project includes the removal of pipes and placement of rock slopes to improve drainage. Motorists can expect right (driving) lane shoulder to be restricted during daylight hours.
Mitchell Knorr Contracting, is the prime contractor for this $84,000 drainage improvement project on Route 15 northbound in Cogan House Township and Route 15 southbound in Jackson Township, Lycoming County. Work on the project includes excavation, slope pipe removal, and rock placement to improve drainage. Work is anticipated to be completed in November 2025, weather permitting.
