Crash Closes Route 61 in Centralia Borough and Conyngham Township, Columbia County

Montoursville, PA – Motorists are advised that Route 61 is closed in both directions between Locust Street (Route 42/61) in Centralia Borough and Byrnsville Road (Route 2002) in Conyngham Township, Columbia County, due to a vehicle crash with downed utilities.

A detour using Route 54 and Route 61 is in place. The roadway is anticipated to open later this evening. Motorists should be alert, slow down, and expect delays in travel.
