Montoursville, PA – Motorists are advised that several bridge inspection and maintenance projects will take place next week on the following dates and at the following locations in Northumberland County:
Tuesday, September 2, 2025
- Truss Bridge on Herndon Bypass Road (Route 3006) over Mahanoy Creek, between Grivley Hill Road and Route 225 in Jackson Township.
- Truss Bridge on Route 225 in Dornsife between Creek Road and Dornsife Mountain Road (Route 4019)
Wednesday, September 3, 2025
- Veterans Memorial Bridge (Route 61) in Sunbury.
- Truss Bridge on Route 61 over Shamokin Creek between Highland Avenue and Green Street in Sunbury (near Zimmerman Motors)
Thursday, September 4, 2024
- Barry White Bridge (Route 11) in Northumberland Borough.
Motorists can expect lane restrictions between 8:00 AM and 3:00 PM at each date and location, weather permitting. Some locations will have flaggers controlling traffic.
Motorists should drive with caution in the area and expect minor delays.
