Resurfacing Project Planned Old Route 15 in White Deer Township, Union County

Montoursville, PA – Motorists are advised that a resurfacing project will begin next week on Old Route 15 (Route 1011) in White Deer Township, Union County.

Starting on Friday, August 15, 2025, a Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) paving crew will begin milling the surface pavement on Old Route 15 between Route 642 in West Milton and White Deer Pike (Route 1010) in White Deer. The roadway will be resurfaced once the milling has been completed. Motorists can expect single lane conditions with flagging where work is being performed. Work will be performed between the hours of 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM.

Motorists should be alert, slow down, watch for slow moving or stopped traffic, and drive with caution through the work zone. Work on this project is anticipated to be completed on Friday, August 29, 2025, weather permitting.
