Clearfield, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) alerted drivers that it lifted a posted restriction on a Route 2003 (Doe Run Road) bridge spanning Doe Run approximately half a mile north of Mexico on Wednesday, January 29. The restriction of one commercial motor vehicle at a time that has been in place since 2011 is now lifted.
PennDOT lifted this weight restriction following the completion of a superstructure reconstruction project that took place during the 2025 construction season.
This 66-foot structure, originally built in 1936, carries an average of 175 vehicles daily.
