Clearfield, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced it will close the left (passing) lane of Interstate 99 northbound at a bridge spanning Bricker Road approximately 1.25 miles south of exit 78/Bellefonte starting Friday, October 31. PennDOT is implementing this lane closure to repair bridge fencing damaged in a crash and will enhance safety for motorists.
PennDOT anticipates minimal traffic impacts but urges drivers to exercise caution in all work zones, obey posted speed limits and always buckle up. It will reopen both lanes by noon on Friday, November 7, before the Penn State’s home football matchup against Indiana.
