TRAFFIC ALERT: Route 40 Reopened in Fayette County

Uniontown, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is advising drivers Route 40 in both directions between Rankin Road and Route 381 has reopened to traffic in Wharton Township, Fayette County.

Road was previously closed due to a crash.

Crews remain on scene clearing debris from the shoulder. Drivers are urged to reduce speed and remain alert while traveling through the area.
