Uniontown, PA – Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) District 12 is announcing that a portion of northbound Interstate 79 between Exit 43 (519 Houston/Eighty Four) and Exit 45 (Route 980/Canonsburg) in Washington County is closed due to a rock slide on the roadway.
Crews are removing rock debris to open a single-lane of traffic.
The roadway will be fully reopened as soon as it is safe.
