Route 982 Pipe Replacement Scheduled in Westmoreland County

Uniontown, PA—Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) District 12 is announcing Route 982 between Route 1027 (Laughlin Farm Road) and Barchesky Road in Derry Township, Westmoreland County, is scheduled to close to traffic on Monday, July 20 at 7:00 AM. 

The closure is expected to remain in place until the end of August, weather and operational permitting. A posted detour will be in place using Route 982, Industrial Boulevard, Route 981, and Route 22.

During this time, Department Force Crews will perform a pipe replacement.

Remain alert and follow the posted signs and speed limits. Safety is everyone’s responsibility.
