Route 481 Railroad Structure Maintenance Scheduled in Washington County

Uniontown, PA – Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) District 12 is announcing a portion of Route 481 between Wertz Way and Route 2025 (Coyle Curtain Road) in Fallowfield Township, Washington County is scheduled to close to traffic beginning Monday, April 6, weather permitting.

A posted detour will be in place through early May using Route 2025 (Coyle Curtain Road), Route 88, 1st Street, Lincoln Avenue Extension, Route 2016 (Old 71).

PennDOT is not involved in this work and is providing this information as a public service announcement only. The work will be performed by the Wheeling and Lake Erie Railroad company.
