Route 4034 Markle Road Closure Begins in Westmoreland County

Uniontown, PA – Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) District 12 is announcing a portion of Route 4034 (Markle Road) at the intersection of Bethesda Drive/Schaffer Drive in Allegheny Township, Westmoreland County closed to traffic on Tuesday, September 8. 

A posted detour is in place until early October using Route 4034 (Markle Road), Route 4073 (White Cloud Road), Route 4075 (Schaffer Drive/Manchester Hill Road), Route 4048 (Melwood Road), and Bethesda Drive. 

PennDOT is not involved in this work and is providing this information as a public service announcement only. The work will be performed by Ohio West Virginia Excavating for slide repair for EQT.
