Uniontown, PA—Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) District 12 is announcing that daily single-lane restrictions are scheduled to occur on Route 40 between Fayette Spring Road and Flatrock Road in Wharton Township, Fayette County, beginning Monday, August 24.
The restrictions will be in place daily from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM through mid-November as crews complete a paving improvement project along this section of Route 40.
Crews from Golden Eagle Construction Co. will perform milling, leveling, joint and base repairs, paving, installation of raised pavement markers and rumble strips, and line painting on ten miles of Route 40—$6.6 million infrastructure investment.
Stay alert and drive cautiously through the work zones—safety is everyone's responsibility.
