    Route 3029 2nd Street Railroad Maintenance Scheduled in Westmoreland County

    Uniontown, PA – Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) District 12 is announcing a portion of Route 3029 (2nd Street) at the railroad crossing next to the old Stoney’s Brewery in Smithton Borough, Westmoreland County is scheduled to close on Wednesday, September 23 at 6:00 AM until Saturday, September 26 at 6:00 AM. 

    A posted detour will be in place using Route 3029 (2nd Street), Route 981, Stahl Road, Jacobs Creek Road, River Road.

    PennDOT is not involved in this work and is providing this information as a public service announcement only. The work will be performed by CSX Transportation Inc.

    Stay alert, exercise caution, and be courteous. Safety is everyone’s responsibility.
