Work is part of the Route 119 McClure/Kingview Interchange Project.
Uniontown, PA—Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) District 12 is announcing that single-lane restrictions are scheduled to occur on Route 1042 (Kingview Road) at the Route 119 intersection in Upper Tyrone and Bullskin townships, Fayette County, from Monday, September 28 at 7:00 AM until Friday, October 2 at 5:00 PM.
Traffic will be controlled by flaggers.
During the restrictions, crews from Plum Contracting Inc. will work around the clock to reconstruct Route 1042 (Kingview Road) and tie in the new Kendi Road.
Plum Contracting is reconstructing the interchange—an infrastructure investment of $53.9 million. Construction is anticipated to last through 2028, pending weather and operational conditions.
