Uniontown, PA—Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) District 12 is announcing that a portion of Route 1027 (Mt. Pleasant Road) between Route 1044 (Prittstown Road) and Route 1046 (Country Club Lane) will be closed in Upper Tyrone and Bullskin townships, Fayette County, beginning Monday, April 27.
The closure is expected to remain in place through mid-June. Traffic will be detoured using Route 1046 (Country Club Lane), Route 1025 (Country Club Road), Route 1044 (Prittstown Road) and Route 1027 (Mt. Pleasant Road). Local traffic will have access to businesses.
Crews from Plum Contracting will be reconstructing the interchange—an infrastructure investment of $53.9 million. Project information is available on PennDOT’s District 12 website under the Projects Near You and select Route 119 McClure/Kingview Interchange Project. Construction is anticipated to last through 2028, pending weather and operational conditions.
