Route 1009 White Road Bridge Replacement Scheduled in Fayette County

Uniontown, PA – Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) District 12 is announcing the closure of a portion of Route 1009 (White Road) between Breakneck Road and Ulery Road in Saltlick Township, Fayette County, beginning Monday, June 29.

A posted detour will be in place until mid-September using White Road, Three Mile Hill Road, County Line Road, and Buchanan/Melcroft Road.

Department Force Bridge crew will demolish the existing structure, replace it with precast concrete box culvert, and widen the approaches. A $750,000 infrastructure investment project.

All work depends on weather and operational conditions.
