Uniontown, PA – Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) Washington County Maintenance Manager Brian Malik has announced the following tentative work plan for the week of June 8. All maintenance activities are dependent on weather and operations.
Drivers can anticipate detours, flaggers, moving operations, and/or single-lane restrictions. Please drive cautiously through all work areas and be alert for signed work zones requiring headlights. Safety is everyone’s responsibility.
Boom mowing:
- Route 2022 (Barr Run Road) in West Bethlehem Township
- Route 2038 (Clover Hill Road) in California Borough
- Route 2041 (Sandy Plains road) in East Bethlehem Township and Beallsville and Deemston boroughs
- Route 4002 (Pittsburg Street) in Hanover and Robinson townships
- Route 4019 (Pleasant Valley road) in Robinson and Smith townships
Bridge replacement:
- Route 331 (Brush Run Road) in Canton Township
o Road closed between Maple Road and Jefferson Avenue

Rock lining:
- Route 136 (Main Street) in Somerset Township

Shoulder cutting:

Shoulder stabilization:

Slide Repair:

Crews will pick litter, replace downed signs, update existing signs, and address work orders on various state routes throughout the county.
