    Expansion Dam Bridge Preservation Project Begins in Greene, Washington and Westmoreland Counties

    Uniontown, PA – Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) District 12 is announcing that single-lane restrictions will occur at four locations in Greene, Washington, and Westmoreland counties beginning Monday, August 3, at 7:00 AM and continue through mid-October.

    Greene County:

    • Route 18 over Bates Fork Creek in Washington Township
    • Route 19 over Ruff Creek in Washington Township

    Washington County:

    • Route 19 over Little Ten Mile Creek in Amwell Township

    Westmoreland County:

    • Route 119 over Jacks Run in Hempfield Township 

    Crews from Swank Construction Company, LLC will install new deck seals, repair deteriorated concrete and bridge decks to extend the life of four structures in Greene, Washington and Westmoreland counties. An infrastructure investment of $1.1 Million.

    Remain alert and follow the posted signs and speed limits. Safety is everyone’s responsibility.
