District 12 Roadway Closures Due to Flooding– 9:15 AM

Uniontown, PA – Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) District 12 is announcing that portions of the following state roadways are closed due to flooding:

Greene County

  • Route 18 in Franklin and Morris Township
    • Between Water Dam Road and Road
  • Route 21 in Center Township
    • Between Covered Bridge Road/Scott Run Road and West Run Road
  • Route 3001 (Aleppo Road) in Richhill Township
    • Between Veterans Road and Buckland Road
  • Route 2017 (Carmichaels Road/Muddy Creek Road) in Cumberland Township
    • Between Jackson Lane and Muddy Creek Road

Washington County

  • Route 481 in Carroll Township and the City of Monongahela
    • Between Van Vorrhis Lane and Park Way
  • Route 2019 (Wherry/Vanceville/Almond Road) in Ellsworth Borough and Somerset Township
    • Between 917 (Main Street) and Wherry Road
  • Route 2020 (Plumsock/Ten Mile/Hackney Station Road) in Amwell and West Bethlehem Township
    • Between Hufford Run Road and Little Creek Road
  • Route 2023 (Grange/Van Vorrhis/Hazlekirk/Bentleyville Road) in Fallowfield Township
    • Between Malmgren Road and Rosena Road
  • Route 2047 (Little Creek Road) in Amwell and West Bethlehem Township
    • Between Highland Ridge Road and Fisher Hollow Road

 

Westmoreland County

  • Route 381 in Ligonier Township
    • Between Club Stable Road and Route 30
  • Route 982 in Derry Township
    • Between Mission Road and Route 30
  • Route 2045 (Two Mile Road) in Ligonier Township
    • Between Ross Road and Route 30
  • Route 2049 (Sleepy Hollow/Causeway Road) in Derry Township
    • Between Route 30 and West Route 30
  • Route 3089 (Ruffsdale Road) in East Huntington Township and New Stanton Borough
    • Between Brickyard Hill Road and Bridge Street/Hunker Waltz Mill Road

As issues are addressed, roadways will be reopened as soon as they are safe.

Drivers are reminded to:

  • Never drive through flooded roadways.
  • Obey all posted signs, barricades, and traffic controls.
  • Allow extra time for travel.
  • Turn on headlights when using wipers.
