Uniontown, PA – Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) District 12 is announcing that portions of the following state roadways are closed due to flooding:
Westmoreland County
- Route 259 in Fairfield Township
- Between Patterson Road and Laughner Road
- Route 1027 (Laughlin Farm Road) in Derry Township
- Between Willow Run Road and Pipers Road
As issues are addressed, roadways will be reopened as soon as they are safe.
Drivers are reminded to:
- Never drive through flooded roadways.
- Obey all posted signs, barricades, and traffic controls.
- Allow extra time for travel.
- Turn on headlights when using wipers.
