Uniontown, PA – Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) District 12 is announcing that portions of the following state roadways are closed due to downed trees in wires:
Fayette County
- Route 2011 (Dinner Bell Five Forks Road / Dinner Bell Ohiopyle Road) in Stewart Township
- Between Meadow Run Road and Ohiopyle Road
Washington County
- Route 4049 (Main Street / Country Club Road) in South Strabane Township
- Between Beech Street and Sherrard Drive
As issues are addressed, roadways will be reopened as soon as they are safe.
Drivers are reminded to:
· Reduce speed and remain alert for debris on the roadway.
· Avoid driving through areas where trees, limbs, or wires are down.
· Allow extra time for travel.
· Never approach or drive over downed utility lines.
