District 12 Roadway Closures Due to Downed Trees in Wires

Uniontown, PA – Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) District 12 is announcing that portions of the following state roadways are closed due to downed trees in wires:

Fayette County

  • Route 2011 (Dinner Bell Five Forks Road / Dinner Bell Ohiopyle Road) in Stewart Township
    • Between Meadow Run Road and Ohiopyle Road

Westmoreland County

  • Route 1015 (Hamill School Road) in Ligonier and Fairfield townships
    • Between Wilpen Road and Fort Palmer Road

As issues are addressed, roadways will be reopened as soon as they are safe.

Drivers are reminded to:

  • Reduce speed and remain alert for debris on the roadway.
  • Avoid driving through areas where trees, limbs, or wires are down.
  • Allow extra time for travel.
  • Never approach or drive over downed utility lines.
