UPDATE: Route 982 Derry Road Pipe Replacement Scheduled in Westmoreland County

Uniontown, PA—Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) District 12 is announcing the previously scheduled closure of Route 982 (Derry Road) between McCollough Road and Barchesky Road in Derry Township, Westmoreland County, will now be reduced to a single-lane restriction beginning Monday, October 27.  

Single-lane restrictions, controlled by flaggers, will be in place weekdays, Monday through Friday, until mid-November

Department Force Crews will be replacing a pipe. All work is depending on weather and operations.

Remain alert and follow the posted signs and speed limits. Safety is everyone’s responsibility.
