Route 88 Railroad Structure Maintenance Scheduled in Washington County

Uniontown, PA – Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) District 12 is announcing single-lane restrictions on Route 88 under the railroad structure between Interstate 70 eastbound and westbound ramps in Speers Borough, Washington County beginning Monday, October 27.

Single-lane restrictions will be in place beginning Monday, October 27 at 7:00 AM until the end of October to allow crews to perform railroad structure maintenance. 

All work is dependent on weather and operational conditions. If rescheduling is necessary, the alternate dates are Monday, November 3 through Friday, November 7.

PennDOT is not involved in this work and is providing this information as a public service announcement only. Crews from Kraemer North America, LLC (contractor for Wheeling & Lake Erie Railroad) will conduct this maintenance work.
