Uniontown, PA – Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) District 12 is announcing single-lane restrictions are scheduled to occur on Route 21 (Main Street) between Locust Street and Ely Avenue in Franklin Township, Greene County, beginning Monday, November 17.
Traffic will be controlled by flaggers through mid-December. In addition, motorists may encounter intermittent intersection closures, with traffic detoured to the next available intersection.
Crews from Columbia Gas will be installing a new gas line and tap locations, ahead of the upcoming Route 18/Route 21 Safety Improvements (West Waynesburg Turn Lane), scheduled to begin in Spring 2026.
Motorists should remain alert and use caution when traveling through the area.
