Interstate 79 Bridge Inspections Begin Next Week in Washington County

Uniontown, PA – Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) District 12 is announcing single-lane restrictions on Interstate 79 from the Greene County line to the Allegheny County line in Washington County.

Restrictions will be in place as follows:

  • Monday, September 8 – Thursday, September 11 and Monday, September 15
  • Daily from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM
  • Northbound and Southbound

District 12 staff will be inspecting the bridges on and over the interstate.

All work is dependent on weather and operational conditions.

Remain alert and follow the posted signs and speed limits. Safety is everyone’s responsibility.
