Donohoe Road and Georges Station Road Lane Restrictions Begin Monday in Westmoreland County

Uniontown, PA—Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) District 12 is announcing single-lane restrictions are scheduled to occur on Route 1026 (Donohoe Road) and Route 1053 (Georges Station Road) beginning Monday, December 8 in Hempfield Township, Westmoreland County.

Single-lane restrictions will be in place through December on:

  • Route 1026 (Donohoe Road) from Public Safety Road through the intersection of Donohoe and Georges Station Road to Autumn Lane.
  • Route 1053 (Georges Station Road) from Industrial Park through the intersection of Donohoe Road to just past the Coca-Cola plant.

All work depends on weather and operations.

Crews from DLZ American Drilling - Driller A.G.E.S., Inc. and The Markosky Engineering Group Inc. will be preforming geotechnical test borings for the redesign of the Donohoe Road/Georges Station Road Intersection Project.

Remain alert and follow the posted signs and speed limits. Safety is everyone’s responsibility.
