Uniontown, PA – Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) District 12 is announcing nightly single-lane restrictions on eastbound Route 30 between the eastbound Route 30 exit ramp to Route 130 and Route 3030 (St. Clair Way) Hempfield Township, Westmoreland County, weather permitting.
The restrictions will be in place beginning Monday, October 13 through late-October from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM to allow crews to perform bridge bearing preservation work on the Route 130 bridge, which crosses over Route 30.
The work is being completed by Allison Park Contractors, Inc., which is retrofitting rocker bearings at multiple sites throughout the district. This effort is part of a larger infrastructure improvement project with a $745,000 infrastructure investment.
Motorists should remain alert and use caution when traveling through the area.
