Uniontown, PA – Westmoreland County Maintenance Manager, Dave Forkey, announced the following tentative work plan for the week of May 30, 2023. All maintenance activities are conducted on a weather-permitting and operational basis.
During county maintenance work activities motorists should expect to encounter flaggers, single-lane restrictions, moving operations, and detours. Motorists should drive with caution throughout all work areas and be alert for signed work zones requiring the usage of headlights.
Bridge repair/cleaning is scheduled for:

Pipe repair/replacement is scheduled for:
- Route 119 in Crabtree, Hempfield Township
- Route 2029 (Hellein School Road) in Donegal Township
- Route 2016 (Youngstown Ridge Avenue) in Unity Township
- Route 271 in Fairfield Township
- Route 1009 (Owl Hollow Road) in Ligonier Township
Shoulder repair/cutting is scheduled for:
- Route 982 Unity Township to Derry Township
- Route 3081 (Catalina Farm Road) in East Huntingdon Township
- Route 130 Hempfield Township to Unity Township
- Route 2006 (Bear Rocks School Road) in Donegal Township
- Route 30 Lincoln Highway in Ligonier Township
Slide repair is scheduled for:
- Route 1067 (Loughner Road) in Fairfield Township
Paving is scheduled for:
- Route 30 in Hempfield Township
Patching is scheduled for:
- Route 3008 (Fellsburg Road) in Rostraver Township
- Route 2023 (Bell Memorial Road and Hill Church Road) in Unity Township
Crack sealing is scheduled for:
- Route 30 Lincoln Highway in Ligonier Township
Litter crews will be picking litter on various routes throughout the county as weather and other activities permit.
Signs will be updated, downed signs will be replaced, and work orders will be addressed on various state routes throughout the County.
