Pittsburgh, PA – PennDOT District 11 is announcing single-lane restrictions on Route 28 in O’Hara Township, Sharpsburg and Aspinwall boroughs, and the City of Pittsburgh, Allegheny County will begin Tuesday, December 3 weather permitting.
Single-lane restrictions will occur in both directions on Route 28 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day according to the following schedule:
- Tuesday and Wednesday, December 3-4 – Northbound Route 28 just beyond the Highland Park Bridge/Aspinwall (Exit 6) interchange. Additionally, a northbound lane restriction will occur at the Delafield Avenue (Exit 7) interchange. Crews will conduct lighting improvement work.
- Tuesday through Friday, December 3-6 – Southbound Route 28 just south of the Highland Park Bridge/Aspinwall (Exit 6) interchange. Crews will conduct ITS conduit repair work.
