    Line Painting Operations Continue in District 11

    ​Pittsburgh, PA – PennDOT District 11 is advising motorists that line painting operations on various roadways in Allegheny, Beaver, and Lawrence counties will occur Saturday, June 1 and next week June 3-8 weather permitting.

    Work to repaint lines will occur on Saturdays from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. and weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the following locations:

    Saturday, June 1

    Allegheny County

    • Route 1027 Pleasantville Road in Harrison Township

    • Route 1028 Bakerstown Road in Harrison and Fawn townships

    • Route 1032 Burtner Road in Harrison Township

    • Route 1032 Oak Manor Road in Harrison Township

    • Route 1035 Ridge Road in Fawn Township

    • Route 1037 Saxonburg Road in Harrison and Fawn townships

    Beaver County

    • Route 551 from Route 168 in South Beaver Township to Lawrence County

    • Route 351 from Route 18 in Big Beaver Borough to Lawrence County

    • Route 4002 Anderson Road/Taggart Road in Darlington Township

    • Route 4004 Cannelton Road in Darlington Township

    • Route 4005 New Galilee Road in Darlington Township and Big Beaver Borough

    • Route 4007 Valley Road in Darlington Township

    Roadway line painting is an important part of PennDOT’s highway safety initiatives. Paint lines provide direction, delineation, and guidance to motorists.

    Generally, PennDOT is not responsible for paint on vehicles.

    Motorists should use caution and be aware of changing traffic patterns when driving through the area. 

    Motorists can check conditions on more than 40,000 roadway miles, including color-coded winter conditions on 2,900 miles, by visiting www.511PA.com. 511PA, which is free and available 24 hours a day, provides traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information, and access to more than 1,000 traffic cameras.

    511PA is also available through a smartphone application for iPhone and Android devices, by calling 5-1-1, or by following regional X alerts accessible on the 511PA website.
