Pittsburgh, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is announcing a lane closure on westbound I-376 (Beaver Valley Expressway) in Potter and Vanport townships, Beaver County will continue.
Traffic on westbound I-376 will continue to be reduced to a single-lane between the Monaca/Shippingport (Exit 39) interchange and Beaver (Exit 38B) exit, and along the Vanport Bridge around-the-clock through early September. Crews will continue operations to steel repairs and painting operations. Westbound operations began on March 28.
Eastbound restrictions are expected to continue through late October.
This work is part of the $4.8 million I-376 (Beaver Valley Expressway) Vanport Bridge Steel Repair project between the Route 68 Midland/Beaver (Exit 38 A/B) and Route 18 Monaca/Shippingport (Exit 39) interchanges. Steel repairs and spot painting will occur on the Vanport Bridge over the Ohio River in Potter and Vanport townships. Long-term lane restrictions are expected on I-376 until work concludes in late 2026. Mosites Construction is the prime contractor.
