Pittsburgh, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is announcing work to inspect the bridge that carries the U.S. 422 Bypass over the Shenango River in the City of New Castle and Taylor Township, Lawrence County, will occur Monday and Tuesday, June 29-30 weather permitting.
Single-lane restrictions will occur in both directions of U.S. 422 Bypass from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM each day according to the following schedule:
Monday, June 29
- Eastbound U.S. 422 between I-376 and Route 168
Tuesday, June 30
- Westbound U.S. 422 between Route 168 and I-376
Crews from Michael Baker International will conduct the routine inspection activities.
