Pittsburgh, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is announcing painting activities on the southbound I-79 structure over Thoms Run Road in Collier Township, Allegheny County will continue Wednesday night, July 29 weather permitting.
To accommodate painting activities on the structure carrying southbound I-79 over Thoms Run Road, Thoms Run Road will close to traffic from 7:00 PM to 5:00 AM Wednesday night. Traffic will be detoured.
All traffic will be detoured via Washington Pike (Route 50) and Prestley Road (Route 3031).
If inclement weather occurs, the closure will occur overnight from 7:00 PM to 5:00 AM on Thursday, July 30.
