Southbound Interstate 79 Neville Island Bridge Lane Restriction this Weekend in Allegheny County

Pittsburgh, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is announcing a lane restriction on the I-79 Neville Island Bridge in Robinson and Neville townships, and Glenfield Borough, Allegheny County will occur Friday, February 27 through Monday, March 2 weather permitting.

Southbound I-79 will have a single-lane restriction on the Neville Island Bridge from 7:00 PM Friday night continuously through 5:00 AM Monday morning. Crews from Lindy Paving will conduct concrete patching. All ramps will remain open during this time.

The restriction could be lifted earlier if the work is completed sooner. Please stay alert and drive cautiously – safety is everyone’s responsibility.
