Pittsburgh, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is announcing inspection work on the southbound I-579 ramp to the Boulevard of the Allies (Route 885) in the City of Pittsburgh, Allegheny County will occur Saturday, August 8 weather permitting.
The southbound I-579 ramp to the Boulevard of the Allies will have a shoulder closure from 6:00 AM to noon Saturday to allow crews from The Markosky Engineering Group, Inc. and Sofis Rigging Company to conduct inspection activities. The ramp will remain open to traffic.
Please use caution if traveling on this bridge. Work zone safety is everyone’s responsibility.
