Routes 51, 151 Utility Work Begins Monday in Beaver County

Pittsburgh, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is announcing utility work on Routes 51 and 151 in Hopewell Township and the City of Aliquippa, Beaver County will begin Monday, September 14 weather permitting.

To allow crews from Duquesne Light to rebuild light pole and cable lines, alternating single-lane and shoulder restrictions will occur on:

  • Route 51 between Route 151 and Station Street
  • Route 151 between Route 51 and Brodhead Road

These restrictions can occur through early October according to the schedule below:

Weekdays

  • 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM
  • 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM

Weekends

  • 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
