Pittsburgh, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is announcing milling and paving operations on Route 88 (Library Road) in the City of Pittsburgh and Castle Shannon Borough, Allegheny County will begin Tuesday night, August 18 weather permitting.
Single-lane alternating traffic will occur weeknights from 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM on Route 88 between Connor Road and Route 51 through mid-November. Crews from Mele & Mele & Sons Inc. will conduct milling, paving, and line painting operations on this $9.72 million group paving job.
Please use caution if traveling through the area. Work zone safety is everyone’s responsibility.
