Pittsburgh, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is announcing a lane restriction on Route 837 (West Carson Street) under the I-376 Fort Pitt Bridge in the City of Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, will occur Monday through Friday, March 30-April 3 weather permitting.

Traffic on West Carson Street between West Station Square Drive and Station Square will be reduced to a single lane in each direction from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM each day to allow crews to conduct bridge inspection activities on the Fort Pitt Bridge above the roadway.

Additionally, during this time a northbound lane shift may occur as needed. However, a single lane of traffic will be maintained at all times.

Crews from NBIS will conduct the routine inspection.
