Pittsburgh, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is announcing inspection activities on the 62nd Street Bridge (Route 8) in Etna and Sharpsburg boroughs, Allegheny County will occur Monday through Friday, October 12-16 weather permitting.
There will be lane narrowing and traffic shifts in both directions of Route 8 between the 62nd Street Bridge and the Route 28 interchange from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM each day through Friday, October 16. Additionally, short-term lane restrictions are possible on Bridge Street. Crews from Michael Baker International will conduct bridge inspection activities.
Please allow extra time and use caution when traveling through the work zone.
