Pittsburgh, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is announcing roadway improvement work is underway on Route 551 (Hollow Road) in Darlington Township, Beaver County.
Single-lane alternating traffic will occur on Route 551 between the Lawrence County line and Fifth Street from 7:00 AM to 5:00 AM each day through early November. Flaggers will assist drivers through work zones as needed. Weekend work is permissible.
The prime contractor is Lindy Paving on this $3.93 million group paving project. Improvement work includes milling and paving, base repairs, curb replacement, and other various construction related activities.
