Route 51 Coraopolis Road, State Avenue Utility Work Begins Monday in Allegheny County

Pittsburgh, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is announcing utility work on Route 51 (Coraopolis Road, State Avenue) in Coraopolis Borough and Moon Township, Allegheny County will begin Monday, August 24 weather permitting.

Single-lane alternating traffic restrictions controlled by flaggers will occur on Route 51 between Carina Lane and Robert Street from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM daily through late October. Crews from Miller Pipeline will conduct gas main replacement work for Columbia Gas. No restrictions will occur from September 4-7 in observance of Labor Day.
